Biblical understanding about Israel

Restoration

We worship the God who “makes all things new” (Revelation 21:5)...the God of restoration. When the Lord restores something, it is always increased, multiplied or improved so that its latter state is significant better than its original state (see Joel 2:21-26). God not only restores our souls as the Psalmist said, but since His covenant is with the Land as well as with the people, He promises that “Israel will bud and blossom and fill the world with fruit” (Isaiah 27:6).

Jeremiah 30:17
“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds.” Declares the Lord, “because you are called an outcast Zion for whom no one cares.”

Isaiah 61:4
“And they shall rebuild the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.”

Other verses: Amos 9:11; Psalm 147:2-3; Isaiah 35:1, 41:18-20; Jeremiah 30:18, 31:12; Ezekiel 34:25-30
