Biblical understanding about Israel

June 28, 2016

Aliyah fair in Kiev (Ukraine) – New wave of aliyah is expected soon!

In the Jewish tradition numerical representation of words reflect an inner sense. Many reflections of Tzaddikim (spiritual masters) are based on comparison of the numerical values. For example Egypt and USSR – Mitsra'im and SSSR – are both 380 in their value. Egypt of the past is a symbol of darkness, a starting point of the Exodus. What is going on in the former Soviet Union we can observe today with our very own eyes!

On June 5, 2016 an Aliyah Fair was organized by the Jewish Agency for Israel.

The fair was intended as a huge help desk for everyone who has a right to go up for aliyah but has not made a final decision yet. All the variety of different programs was presented there. As well as a stand of our friends “Christians for Israel”! All day long, from the beginning until the door was locked after the last visitors, you could not swing a cat near the stand of “Christians for Israel”. Everyone was willing to share his story and curious about the work of “Christians for Israel”.

The same was going on at the stand of the Jewish Agency’s "First Home in the Homeland". Many families that already decided to take part in the aliyah program came to meet us in person, while others heard about the program for the first time.

For one young couple from the East of Ukraine this day was their last before going up for aliyah. After fleeing from the war they spent the whole month in the Shelter of “Christians for Israel” and from the 6th of June their new home is kibbutz Ein HaShofet in the North of Israel.

The Aliyah fair in Kiev was visited by over 2,000 people!

Israel is expecting a new huge wave of newcomers. Many of them are young families with children anxious to become new Israeli citizens in every respect. After leaving their "last home" in Ukraine (the Shelter of Christians for Israel), they arrive to their "first home" in the Land of Israel

There is a long waiting list for the 'First Home in Homeland' program of more than 80 Jewish families from the Former Soviet Union. Also Jews from France have indicated that they want to join this program. Assisting a family in the "First Home" program costs € 230 euro / US $ 250 a month.

Please support this 'First Home' program and help the people settle in the land of Israel! Any amount is welcome!
