C4I Holland submits petition against anti-Semitism

On January 27th, Christians for Israel Holland submitted a petition against anti-Semitism to the Dutch House of Representatives in The Hague during the commemoration of the liberation of concentration camp Auschwitz. The petition raised more than 18,000 signatures.

The petition was presented to Joël Voordewind, member of the House of Representatives for the ‘ChristenUnie’, in the presence of Chief Rabbi of the Netherlands, Binyomin Jacobs. The many signatures were collected amongst the many visitors of the Israel Center in Nijkerk, Netherlands, and through the website of Christians for Israel Holland.

Chief Rabbi Jacobs shared during the meeting that anti-Semitism is now on the rise in the Dutch society. He showed the members of the House of Representatives a receipt which had been issued during the Second World War to someone who betrayed five Jews for the amount of money 37.50 Dutch guilders.
