Return of the Bnei Menashe

After years of prayer, discussions and negotiations, the Israeli-based organisation Shavei Israel, under the leadership of Chairman Michael Freund, was recently given approval to arrange for the return of another 900 Jews from the tribe of Menashe in India. Shavei Israel is responsible for the logistics and financing of this very important work.

In recent years, Shavei Israel has brought some 1,700 Bnei Menashe back home to Zion. Another 7,200 still remain in India, waiting for the day when they too will be able to return to Israel and the Jewish people. In addition to arranging for their return to Israel, Shavei Israel supports the Bnei Menashe communities in India, and assists their absorption once they have arrived in Israel.

Christians for Israel has been supporting this important and prophetic project for the last two years. Our Dutch branch has just decided to make a donation of 50,000 euro, which has been given by Christian donors in The Netherlands.

Thank you so very much for this blessing – I am grateful to you and the entire Christians for Israel family for this support, which will go towards the Bnei Menashe aliyah.

Indeed, the timing is very fortuitous – just yesterday I stood at the Western Wall in Jerusalem, pleading with
G-d to help me with the funds we need to raise in order to bring back the 900 Bnei Menashe for whom we recently received approval.
