News from C4I Australia
A number of changes have been recently made to the leadership of C4I Australia. At the board level, Glenn & Felicity Hodson retired in March 2010 as national directors, but fortunately they will both continue as C4I Australia board members. Henk Kamsteeg remains as Chairman.
In addition to his roles as C4I Regional Director Asia-Pacific, and Chairman of C4I New Zealand, Henk Kamsteeg will for the time being take over responsibility for the daily management of the C4I Australia operation, from his base in Auckland, New Zealand.
In the coming months, C4I Australia intends to focus on improving the visibility and distribution of the newspaper Israel & Christians Today. Currently C4I Australia has a print- run of 5000 papers that are distributed nation-wide (6 issues per year).
C4I Australia is also delighted to announce two important additions to the leadership.
First, Carl Carmody has joined the C4I Australia board as a new board member. He is managing editor of Challenge The Good News Paper and CEO of Challenge Literature Fellowship. The monthly Challenge newspaper is distributed in Australia, New Zealand, Southern and Central Africa, South America and the United States. Carl and his wife Carolyn have 3 daughters, Hannah, Micah and Rachel, and they live in Perth.
Second, Rev. Dr. Mark Durie has agreed to act as Advisor to C4I Australia.
Rev. Dr. Mark Durie serves as a Vicar of St Mary’s Anglican Church, Caulfield. He is a graduate of the Australian National University and the Australian College of Theology, and has held visiting appointments at the University of Leiden, MIT, UCLA and Stanford, and was elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities in 1992. He is the author of many publications, incl. Revelation? Do We Worship The Same God? and The Third Choice: Islam, Dhimmitude and Freedom.
