C4I Austria hosts disabled Israelis

In early May 2012, Christians for Israel Austria will be hosting a group of 9 "Disraelis" (disabled Israelis) and their mentor, Ilan Brunner. We hope and pray that they will have a wonderfully blessed time in Austria and would greatly appreciate if you could also pray for this visit. That it will be a blessed time for the participants, their hosts and all the people they will meet!

Marie-Louise Weissenböck (Chairperson, C4I Austria) reports:

"Ilan Brunner was himself being a survivor of the holocaust - taken as a 5-year old child on one of the last children's transports from Prague to England and after the war to Israel. The 9 Disraelis who will accompany him to Austria are between 20 and 27 years old and most of them have been traumatized and/or wounded during their time in the IDF or in terror attacks. The visit will begin on the 6th of May and end on the 16th of May. We have organized a very special program. We will host the group in Vienna for the first 3 days and then take them to the Ramsau in Styria, in the Alps, where they will be home hosted for 2 days on small farms. After that they will be hosted by the congregation of Rev Günter Battenberg for another 2 days. In Melk we will have a memorial service with the mayor of Melk at a concentration camp memorial site. The last 3 days will again be spent in Vienna. During their trip they will have several meetings with young Austrians as well as with a group of international young adults, studying at a Bible school in Schladming."
