Dear friends and partners,
In May and June there have been many important developments around the world affecting Israel and the church. To name a few:
- The rise of ISIS and ongoing conflict in Syria
- Visit of the Pope to Israel
- Collapse of the Israel/Palestinian peace talks, the Hamas-Fatah "unity" government, and the kidnapping of three Israel teenagers in the West Bank
- Decision of the Presbyterian Church in USA to support BDS against Israel.
Not surprisingly then, these have also been extremely busy months for Christians for Israel worldwide. In this edition of the Messenger you will get a taste of the many activities and programs in recent weeks around the world.
Thank you for your ongoing support and interest. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like to be involved in the growing Christians for Israel movement.

Update#2 from the Ukraine by Koen Carlier
Our worst fears in the Eastern Ukraine have gradually come true! The situation deteriorates as daily battles rage between the Ukrainian army and the separatists. There are, probably, more than 20,000 heavily armed rebels in the East. Heavy weapons are used and there are air strikes on the separatists. The battles, in an area three times the size of the Netherlands and four times that of Belgium, keep moving between different towns although it remains concentrated around the four towns of Donetsk, Kramatorsk, Slavyansk and Luhansk and the many small border posts between Russia and the Ukraine.
