"Christ came as a servant of the Jews on behalf of God's truth, to confirm the promises made to the patriarchs, so that the Gentiles may glorify God for his mercy … " (Romans 15:8-9).
We look back with great joy on an extremely busy and productive year as Christians for Israel International. Read the highlights
here.
Thank you for partnering with us in 2013, and we look forward to working together in 2014. I urge consider us in your prayers and your
end-of-year giving. We need your financial and prayer support in order to be able to continue this important end-time ministry to the church and Israel.
God bless you.

A word from the Chairman - Harald Eckert
As the year draws to an end, it is my joy and privilege to send you a word of greeting.
For Israel the year 2013 was not an easy year. The situations in the neighboring countries have gotten even more unstable. The Iranian threat – with the Geneva agreement – has become greater and not lesser. The financial and social challenges of the nation are tense. The isolation of Israel amongst the nations and the media has grown. But still, there has been a comparably good level of quietness and absence of terror. And God is continuing to fulfil his promises towards the Jewish people and the relationship between us and the people of Israel – at many different levels – has never been as strong as today.

The distribution of food parcels in the Ukraine; heartrending but essential
A group of volunteers from The Netherlands is visiting the Ukraine to learn more about the Jewish community. I am part of a film crew that is working on a documentary about the work of Christians for Israel in the Ukraine. In the past couple of days, the volunteers packed 1,350 food parcels that will be distributed in a single large operation amongst the Jews in the provinces of Vinnitsa and Khmelnitsky.

Blessed Study Tour To Israel by C4I SE Asia (29 November - 9 December 2013)
It is not easy for Malaysians to travel to Israel. They require a special visa which is meant for Israel but does not mention Israel by name. But a group of 24 Malaysians responded to Wilson Ng’s (C4I South East Asia Representative) and took the opportunity to visit Israel, to explore more deeply the Jewish roots of their faith and to tour the Land of the Bible. The group was accompanied by Rev. Willem Glashouwer (President C4I International) and his wife Marianne.

Update C4I Project - Hineni Soup Kitchen
As from Thursday 12 December Jerusalem was hit by a snow storm, described by Jerusalem’s Mayor Nir Barkat as a "tsunami", reaching up to 60 cm of snow.
As a result the roads in and out of Jerusalem were closed, leaving thousands of people stranded in the snow. The IDF (Israeli Defence Force), Police and volunteers had to launch rescue operations throughout Thursday-Friday night until deep into the morning, this in order to reach over 2,000 travelers trapped in cars, buses, and on roads.

A busy season - Report by our Aliyah fieldworker Koen Carlier
Many Jews traditionally leave the ‘Northern Countries’ during the last two months of the year. The many official documents, required by both the Israeli embassy and the local authorities, take approximately 1 to 2 years to assemble. By leaving now, people will avoid the possible interference of new rules that might be introduced in 2014. Winter has not yet put in an appearance, but that can change in an instant.

Christmas message from Rev. Willem Glashouwer
Why is the month of December very important for the Jewish people too? Which promises were made by the angel Gabriel? How about the fulfilling of these promises? What does it mean when we see the re-establishment of the State of Israel and the restoration of Jerusalem? How will this all end? This and more is discussed by Rev Willem J.J. Glashouwer.
