As the C4I ministry grows around the world, our highest priority is to disciple, teach, encourage and equip a new generation of C4I leaders to take on more responsibility for teaching and training in the regions – ie. Train-the-trainers! We praise God for the talented leaders He is raising in the nations. Ploughing through the snow
A report from Koen Carlier, our Aliyah fieldworker in the Ukraine
Times are tough for the drivers who have to travel to the Israeli embassy or the airport in Kiev at this time of the year. And yet there are so many planned trips with olim, who hope to make aliyah to Israel before the end of the year. Several small villages and towns in the Ukraine have been isolated from the outside world by very heavy snowfall in the course of the past week.
We were fortunate to deliver the first 10,000 food parcels to many areas that are now unreachable. New supplies, required for additional food parcels, were ordered and volunteers are once more engaged in preparing new batches. Read more
Join Rev. Willem Glashouwer on a unique Bible study tour to Greece |
Rev. Willem Glashouwer will lead this 9-day journey to follow the footsteps of the Apostle Paul.
Contrary to the understanding of many Christians, the Jewish Rabbi Paul (Saul) did not turn his back on his Jewish identity. As Apostle to the Gentiles, he connected the Gentile world with the God’s special relationship with Israel. The first Christians were mainly Jews, and they gathered in and around the synagogue. They studied the Jewish scriptures, and observed Jewish traditions.
By visiting the places where Paul visited the synagogues, where he taught and where the early Christian communities developed, Rev. Glashouwer will give daily Bible studies on location, which will give new insights into the Jewish roots of the Christian church, and the intimate relationship between the church (ecclesia) and synagogue.
