Dear friends,
The Jewish people have just celebrated Pesach. In the coming days Christians will celebrate Easter - the Resurrection of Jesus. Let us also remember that Jesus died for (His) Jewish people and that we owe our salvation as Christians to the Jewish people. Let us especially pray and fast for Israel and the Jewish people at this time, in particular the very concerning developments in the Ukraine.
We wish you all every blessing.

The Bible Open - Video update from Rev. Willem Glashouwer
There are all kinds of speculations about the Blood Moons in 2014/2015 and people wonder what will happen to Israel and the world. We should be careful. We know that there will be signs, but we should stick to the Bible. God holds the universe in His hands. He leads all things - the history of mankind, of His Church and of His People Israel - towards His goal, which is the Coming of the Kingdom and the Coming of the King of the Kingdom.

Update from the Ukraine from our Aliyah fieldworker Koen Carlier
After a series of lectures in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, which included 3 special family days, we safely passed the border on Tuesday, April 1st, and after 9 more hours of driving, I was home with my wife and children. While we met many acquaintances and were encouraged by you, time was limited and we could not meet with all of you! However, the Ukrainians and Israeli’s were overcome by the overwhelming warmth and friendship they experienced!

China´s ‘lost Jews’ discover their faith
By Michael Freund -
Passover is upon us, the holiday that celebrates the festival of freedom and connects Jews around the world to their roots and to each other. Israel Returns is celebrating the holidays in our centers around the world. In Kaifeng, China, a Jewish community of almost 1,000 people live and thrive. The Kaifeng community is one with a rich and ancient heritage, much of it unfamiliar to most of the outside world, but it has somehow managed to survive throughout the centuries.

By Rev. Glashouwer - In Acts 8:26-40 we read how the Lord told Philip to go south to the road – the desert road – that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza: to meet with a man from Ethiopia, an important official in charge of all the treasury of Candace, Queen of the Ethiopians. Philip joins the chariot of this Ethiopian Jew, and while driving explains to him at his request what chapter 53 in the precious scroll of the prophet Isaiah means. The scroll that this man from Ethiopia probably had bought in Jerusalem, where he had been to worship. After Philip’s explanation and having told him the good news about Jesus, this eunuch continues his way rejoicing, back to Ethiopia!

Global Prayer Call 2015
- Calling the body of Christ worldwide to prayer (and fasting) for your nation and Israel -
On May 8, 2015 it will be 70 years that World War II (in Europe) came to an end. With this the Holocaust, the greatest atrocity and tragedy of mankind, came to a halt. On January 27, 2015, Holocaust Memorial day, it will be seventy years that the infamous concentration camp of Auschwitz will be delivered. These are highly important commemoration days – for the Jewish world and especially for the Jewish nation Israel which until today is threatened by a second Holocaust. And because this is so significant for Israel it should be significant for the Body of Christ as well as for those nations who want to be a blessing for Israel.
