Dear friends and partners,

Here is a brief report on recent and planned activities within the Christians for Israel movement, which is growing rapidly as Christians increasingly understand the time we are living in.

We thank God that He is fulfilling his promises to Israel and the church: "For I will take you out of the nations. I will gather you from all the countries, and bring you back into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean …" (Ezekiel 36:24-25)

May the Lord bless you and strengthen you. Thank you for your support of our ministry.

Fiera is all alone. Are you going to help her? - report from C4I Ukraine

On Wednesday 13 November we have started with our yearly food parcel project in the Ukraine. We will distribute the food parcels in about 80 villages at set times to poor Jewish families. With these parcels we tell 'the good news' as described in the prophets: God will bring His people back to Israel from exile.

C4I Netherlands builds largest Hanukkiah in the world

This year, the Jewish community celebrates Hanukkah (the holiday of light) from 27th November to 5th December. During this holiday the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem is commemorated. Each evening one extra candle of the Hanukkiah is lit. Christians for Israel has built the largest Hanukkiah in the world: an impressive construction of almost 12 meters high. This Hanukkiah will be lit on Wednesday 27th November at 7.30 pm by Chief Rabbi Binyomin Jacobs, in presence of the Ambassador of Israel to the Netherlands Haim Divon, the Mayor of Nijkerk, several members of the Dutch Parliament, and many hundreds of supporters of Israel and the Jewish people.

Christians for Israel growing in Asia! Interview with Wilson Ng – C4I Regional Coordinator, South East Asia

There is undoubtedly a tremendous work of the Holy Spirit in Asia at the moment. Thousands if not millions are coming to Christ each year across the region. As part of this, God is raising people who want to know more about Israel. We believe God is hovering over Asia, looking for people who understand this message about Israel as part of His plan to prepare the body of Christ for Jesus’ coming.

European Coalition marks 10th Anniversary in support of Israel

In the aftermath of the 75th Anniversary of the Night of Broken Glass, a more recent anniversary was marked in the European Parliament in Brussels on Wednesday 13th November, when the European Coalition for Israel celebrated its 10th Anniversary in the EU capital. The conference “EU-Israel - Which way forward?” reviewed EU-Israeli relations since the Yom Kippur War of 1973, in the light of the proposed EU guidelines for the disputed territories. The new guidelines forbid EU grants, prizes and loans from going not just to Israeli entities located beyond the Green Line, but also to Israeli entities that have any activities beyond the post-1967 lines.

Igor refused to leave the Ukraine until... Report by our Aliyah fieldworker Koen Carlier

After the Day of Atonement we had the opportunity to transport six young people from Vinnitsa, and two other small villages, to the airport in Kiev. A total of 33 youth left on a special program for young people who wish to emigrate – or make aliyah – to Israel. All the youth were accompanied by either one or two parents. We started the journey after checking that everybody had their passports and all the other required official documentation. The rain was pelting down, and we had to take extra care to avoid the deceitful, water-filled potholes. But all went well, and we arrived at Kiev airport at ten thirty in the morning.

Commemoration in Berlin - 75 years after the Kristallnacht

On 9th November, an impressive commemoration of the Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass) took place in Berlin. During this night, now 75 years ago, a pogrom took place against Jews throughout Nazi Germany and parts of Austria. At least 91 Jews were killed in the attacks, and 30,000 were arrested and put in concentration camps. Many synagogues were burned and Jewish businesses destroyed or damaged.
