The Israel conference at IPC Zurich succesful!

More than 80 different people attending during three days.

Philip van den Berg writes: eight people have helped out to prepare and run the conference. We sold 66 books / dvd packages. Donations covered the cost (thanks be to God). The Sunday sermon with Rev. Willem Glashouwer was very much appreciated. There is great interest for an English Why Israel? DVD course, so we would like to start one in Zurich.  People got to know about the conference in different ways: flyer, emailing, website, acquaintances, so we need to continue broad marketing and especially maintain and expanding the own contact list. We pray the C4I work in CH will get more supporters and dedicated staff. Greetings & blessings!

Discussion on values for Europe’s future

Marie-Louise represented "Christians for Israel - Austria

On the 8th of April 2011, members of the "Together4 Europe - Austria" coalition (where Marie-Louise represents "Christians for Israel - Austria") invited Austrian members of the European Parliament to the " Haus der Europäischen Union" in Vienna.  Together with the Austrian representative of the European Commission, the three Parliamentarians, representing the main parties, answered questions asked by an audience of about 100 Austrian Christians from across the denominational spectrum. read more

Christians for Israel Forum – Jerusalem March 2011

A time of blessing and refreshing

From Monday 14th – Saturday 19th March 2011 Christians for Israel International organized its Third bi-annual C4I Forum in Israel. There were some 60 participants representing the Christians for Israel branches in Europe, Africa and North America. We thank the Lord for a wonderful, enriching week together. We all grew in our understanding of the C4I mission, and in our relationships with eachother. Many friendships were formed and developed during this week together. During the week we also had many amazing meetings with Jewish people read more

C4I: "Missionaries to the church"

Jerusalem Post journalist Michael Freund writes about Christians for Israel

Recently, I was invited to speak to the Christians for Israel organization during an international leadership forum it convened in Jerusalem. Not quite sure what to expect, I entered the auditorium and politely took my seat, listening attentively. What I saw and heard was as encouraging as it was extraordinary. read more

C4I Spring Tour from March 19 to March 27 2011

Almost 100 people travelled through the Promised Land

The tour in itself was a unique experience, but the cultural diversity of our group gave an extra dimension to this tour. Travelling with people from Uganda, Nigeria, Canada, U.S.A, Greece, Germany, and Holland, we were often asked by people how we were all connected. We could simply explain that our common factor is that we are all Christians who support and love Israel. Many of the people who joined on this tour are leaders (for example pastors, politicians and businessmen). The tour was guided by Rev. John Tweedie (Chairman C4I International) and Jos van Westing (Director Africa). We pray that they will spread the message about Gods’ everlasting covenants with Israel in their own countries.

Tzahal concerts

Christians for Israel Holland hosts IDF musicians

Pieter Benard, head of the project department: In February Holland C4I organized three concerts of ‘Tzahal’, with a total of 2500 visitors. Not only did we enjoy the music and singing of this Israeli army band, but also we prayed together with them for the release of Gilad Shalit, the soldier that has been held captive by the terrorist organization Hamas for more than four years. I share with you the moving words of this sung prayer – continue to pray for his safety and release!

Israel Prayer letter April-May 2011

Dear Israel friends, Writing the Prayer Letter is always an adventure, so many things come one’s way. Streams of information need to be canalized on the basis of a relationship, the relationship with God. Weighing, through prayer and searching, what should be written in the letter, and what should not. read more
